Jesse Addison Dies at Hospital
Jesse Heyward (Dutch) Addison, 48, street salesman for The State and The Columbia Record, of 1520 Assembly Street, died at 9:15 last night following a long period of ill health.
Mr Addison was born in Columbia, the son of Mrs Mattie Hutchinson Addison and the late W S Addison.
Survivors include his mother and one sister, Mrs Nellie Steele of Columbia, and a number of aunts and uncles.
Graveside services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Elmwood cemetery, conducted by the Rev M V Horne.
Active pallbearers will be L L Steele, Eugene Hutchinson, H A Abbott, Ed Douglas, Drayton White and Asa Livingston. They are requested to meet at Paschal-Regal funeral home at 3:40 this afternoon.
The body will remain at Paschal-Regal until the hour of the service.
