At St. Boniface Hospital, on November 25, 1989, Katherine Barsby, aged 74 years, late of Winnipeg, formerly of Dominion City, widow of the late Herbert Barsby and mother of Patricia (Derek) Whitmore of Adelaide, Australia and John Barsby of Winnipeg. As well as her children, she is survived by sisters, Eva Ruhr of Regina, Rose Crowie of Brampton, Ont. and by brothers, Edward (Mary) Kletchko of Regina and Joseph (Rose) Kletchko of Grayson, Sask. and by a sister- in- law, Lillian Kletchko of Grayson.
She was predeceased by her husband Herbert Barsby in 1979, by her sister, Mary Hickle and by brothers, Conrad, Jacob, John, and Adam.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Dominion city United Church, Dominion City, Man. on Wednesday, November 29 at 2 p.m.. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the Dominion City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Barsby's memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Manitoba Branch) Winnipeg.
Arrangements are in care of the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
