RITES HELD FOR JOHN QUINCY ADAMS

Mr. John Quincy Adams, age 74, of Drakes Branch, died Thursday, February 14, 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy N. Adams; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Snead of Drakes Branch; three sons, Melvin Adams of Drakes Branch, James Adams of Chase City, and Hershel Adams of Keysville; ten grandchildren; two brothers, Hugh W. Adams of Randolph, and Teddy Adams of The Plains; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Parker of Damascus, Mrs. Mary Skelton of Drakes Branch, and Mrs. Rosa Glass of Richmond.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 17, from the Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, with interment in the Plantersville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
