Obit: Delbert J. Branning, 86,died at his home 120 New York St., Scranton, PA. He lived in Scranton about 30 yrs. had been ailing for some time. Born at [Atco} Branningville 1Feb1865 he was a son of Jacob & Keturah Baird Branning. A retired lumberman and glass mfg. at Hawley. Surviving are wife Augusta Holbach Branning and children, Mary at home, Mrs. Ruth Harries of Newark, NJ, Leon of Scranton, Delos of Pittsburg. Mr. Branning was the last member of his immediate family. The funeral will be held Saturday Oct. 27, from his late home in Scranton, with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Hawley,PA, that afternoon. A member of Independent Order of Odd Fellows at Hawey for 50 years.
