Born June 11, 1903 in Beetown, he married Dorothy Kinneke on July 7, 1959 in Janesville. A resident of Janesville the past 35 years, Bishell was employed many years by Bennett Tree Experts, retiring in 1968. He was a member of St John's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Alden of Cambridge; a daughter, Bonnie Langenhahn of Menomonee Falls; 13 grandchildren; 10 grat grandchildren; four step daughters, Dolores Miller and Darlene Unrine, both of Janesville, Barbara Mullett of Edgerton and Karen Klein of St Charles, Ill.
Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday in St John's Lutheran Church, with entombment in Milton Lawns Memorial Park Mausoleum, Janesville and from 1 pm until time of service Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the church.
