Lucille Guinn Blevins, former longtime Quail resident, died in Bowie Friday May 9, 1997 at the age of 91. Born December 3, 1905 in Quail to James Hugh and Anna Belle DePauw Guinn, she attended school at Quail. She married Carrol Blevins on Dec. 21, 1922. Mrs. Blevins was a homemaker and a active member of the Church of Christ. She lived in Quail until 1974. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974, by a son John Blevins in 1931 and by a grandson Tommy Dan Holton in 1985. Survivors include a son, Howard Blevins of Waukomis, OK; a daughter, Virginia Carrol Holton of Childress; eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
