He was the son of Arthur Samuel & Lydia Whitsitt Andrews. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Philippines and Hiroshima, Japan.
He retired from Zenith in Springfield after working there for 20 years.
He enjoyed his farm and helping his brother on his boyhood farm.
Surviving is his son Randy Andrews and his wife Sue of Sparta, a daughter Laura Andrews, Dickson, Tenn. a brother Bill, Sparta, and his mother Lydia Andrews of Sparta.
Services were in the Harris Chapel with the Rev.Dorsie Lavell officiating.Burial was in the Sparta Cemetery with military honors.
