William "Bill" Andrews, 86, Ozark, left us to be with the Lord on May 27, 2008, in Ozark Nursing and Care Center, Ozark. Bill was born Jan. 13, 1922, in Oldfield, the son of Arthur and Lydia (Whitsett) Andrews.
Bill was a farmer who enjoyed the outdoors and planting crops with his tractor. He also raised cattle and relied on the annual Farmers Almanac for intelligent decisions. Bill was longtime resident of Christian County and was cared for by special nephew and niece.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lydia Andrews; one brother Jerry Andrews; and a niece Sue Andrews. Bill is lovingly survived by his nephew Randy Andrews of Sparta; one niece Laurie Andrews of Nashville, Tenn.; and many loving friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. May 31, 2008, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Harold Tennison officiating. Burial followed in the Sparta Cemetery.
