John Vincent Durbin was the son of John VanBuren and Elizabeth F. McKinzie Durbin of Christian Co. IL. John V married Sarah Jane Durbin in Lebanon, MO on 19 May 1891 and spent their entire married life farming near Taylorville, IL. They had 7 daughters and 3 sons. John V. and Sarah are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.
