Notes from Fern 'Stidham' Brinkley:
Dad (Dee) told us that Grandpa (William) took a wagon load of cotton to the cotton gin and came back sick. He died about 4 am the next morning from typhoid fever. Dad (Dee) said the fever got him quick.
