Palmer Rosinsky Manitowoc Herald News August 11, 1975

Palmer (Rosy) Rosinsky, 70, of 1725 Dewey St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Rosinsky was born April 16, 1905 at Monico, Wis., son of the late Fred and
Jennie Singer Rosinsky. He married Esther S. Schwoerer July 10, 1924, at St.
Nazianz. After their marriage they resided at Manitowoc where he was employed
at North Western Transportation Co. and Mirro Aluminum Co. prior to joining the
City of Manitowoc Fire Dept. He retired from the fire department in 1952 with
the rank of captain. The couple moved to Little Sturgeon Bay. There they
operated Rosy's Beer Garden, returning to Manitowoc in 1971. Mr. Rosinsky had
played semi-pro baseball in the Manitowoc area and was a member of the Oldtimers
Baseball Club.
Survivors include his wife, five sons, Paul, Vernon and Robert of Manitowoc,
Wayne of Waukesha and Tom of Kewaunee, a daughter, Mrs. Clinton (Marie) Hunt and
a brother, Edward of Manitowoc, 15 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
