Alfred Reimer of Elcho dies

Alfred E. Reimer, 75, of Elcho, died Tuesday at St. Mary Hospital, Rhinelander.

A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Reimer, he was born May 23, 1912 in Manitowoc. He married his wife, the former Mabel Riemer, June 14, 1938 in Kiel. She survives.

Mr. Reimer was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Sheboygan County Highway Department. He moved to Post Lake in 1974 following his retirement.

He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Elcho, and the Post Lake Community Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Diane) Grosshuesch of Howard's Grove; two sons, Dennis of Sheboygan and Keith of Elcho; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm at the Reinhold-Pfeffer-Urbanek-Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Jerome Freimuth will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10am until the time of services.
