GEORGIA LEHMAN DIED LAST FRIDAY
Mrs. Georgia M. Lehman, a long-time resident of Madison County, died last Friday, July 23, at the Horton Nursing Home in Winterset. She was 80 years of age at death.
Mrs. Lehman was born on September 17, 1890 at Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Thompson Haymond. She was married to Frank F. Lehman at Laramie, Wyoming on August 4, 1910. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1963.
She was affiliated with the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Winterset.
Mrs. Lehman is survived by three sons, Earl Lehman and Ernest Lehman of Des Moines, and Albert Lehman of Winterset. Eleven grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren also survive.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Lehman was preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth, Harold and William.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Karl Hansen presiding. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery at Creston, Iowa.
