A graveside service for Ernest F. Lehman, 72, of 1120 Cummins Road, who died of complications of stomach surgery Sunday at Broadlawns Medical Center, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Mr. Lehman was born in Laramie, Wyo., and lived in Des Moines since 1951. He was a retired stableman for Raccoon Valley Riding Stables.
Survivors include his wife, Stella; two sons, Jack of Austin, Texas, and Ralph of Price, Utah; three daughters, Betty Berry of Winterset, Georgia Swenson and Jenny Wilder, both of Des Moines; a brother, Albert of Winterset; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon today at Southtown Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
