Laura Lee Zeller: Zeller loved to travel, lived throughout U.S.
Laura Lee Zeller enjoyed life by traveling and living throughout the country.
"She enjoyed living in different places," said her mother, Laura Zeller of San Antonio.
Zeller died following a lengthy illness Friday at a local hospital. She was 38.
A native San Antonian, Zeller graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1971.
After high school, Zeller traveled and lived in Houston, Connecticut and New Orleans.
"She enjoyed meeting new people," her mother said.
Although Zeller suffered from arthritis, her mother said she tried to live life to the fullest.
"She did different things," her mother said. "When she lived in New Orleans, she liked to visit the plantations and things like that.
"She did mostly just what she wanted to."
Her mother said Zeller was kind to those she loved.
"She loved to shop and loved to buy things for other people," her mother said. "She was a generous, sweet person. She was loved by her family."
Zeller also is survived by her father, Roger L. Zeller of San Antonio; a brother, . . . ; a great aunt and two cousins, all of San Antonio.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mission Burial Park North. Porter Loring Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
