Betty Jean Wood of Pensacola, was escorted from this earth by angels on Sunday, January 21, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was employed by the School District of Escambia County for the past thirteen years. Her husband, Cliff Wood and her daughter, Teresa Dewberry preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hodges; son-in-law, Brian Wood, grandsons, Ray (Christina) Cranford and Brian Dixon; granddaughters, Erika Hodges, Amanda Bibb, and Angela Dixon; great grandchildren, Savannah, Kayleigh and Jaxson Cranford; two sisters; three brothers; numerous family and many friends.
