Ruby Louise (Wheeler) Brown

BAXTER –Funeral services for Ruby Louise Brown, 82, of Baxter, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday,
October 30, from the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. today, Sunday, October 29, from 7 a.m. until time of
services on Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown died Saturday, October 28, 2006, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 16, 1924, in Putnam County to the late Bob and Ina Crawford Wheeler.
Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of Dillard's Creek Community Church.

Her family includes a daughter and son-in-law,
Carol and Richard McBroom of Baxter; three sons and daughters-in-law,
Jim and Nellie Brown and Rich and Penny Brown, all of Baxter, and Robert "Tank" and
Tina Brown of Buffalo Valley; two brothers, Hop Wheeler of Baxter and Warren Wheeler of Rainbow
City, AL; two sisters, Mary Alice Allen of Cookeville and Clara Benniger of Columbus, IN; 13
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren
.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. C. Brown; a son, David Brown;
and several brothers and sisters.

Bros. Bobby Ray and Fabron Nicholson will officiate the services.
