Elsie Weems,92 of Lake,died Sunday,April 29,2001,at Guardian Angel Hospice in Meridian.Fuuneral services will be held at 2p.m.today,at Carr Methodist Church in Smith County,with burial in the church cemetery.She was preceded in death by her husband,Marion Weems.She is survived by three sons,Joyner Weems of Hayden,Ala;Brock Weems of Louisville and David Lee Weems of Lake;three daughters,Lilla Small and Mary Allene Vance,both of Lake,and Sandra Knight of Meridian;and one brother,Clements Joyner of Tucson,Ariz.Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest is in charge of arrangements.
