Florence K. McCarley age 91 of Hillsboro died Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Crestwood Nursing Center. She was born January 5, 1923 in Jackson, Ohio the daughter of the late Oakley and Anna Trego Walker. Mrs. McCarley was a homemaker. She is survived by three children, Steven (Kaye) McCarley of Lawton, Oklahoma, Thomas McCarley of Cincinnati and Patricia Heaton of St. Louis, Missouri, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. McCarley on September 11, 2005. Graveside services will be held 1:15 p.m. Friday, September 26th at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Rev. Glenn Davis will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203-1742.
