Mr. Wable was the son of David and Sarah Ankeny Wable, pioneer residents of Black Township, who resided on the farm now owned by William H. Weimer.
He was twice married, his first wife having been Sabina Eliza Sanner, a daughter of the late Levi Sanner, also a Black Twp. resident. To this union were born two children, Etta, wife of E. J. Weimer of Rockwood, and Viola, deceased.
After the death of his first wife which occurred about twenty years ago, he married Julia Shaffer of Somerset. Miss Gladys Wable of Windber is a surviving daughter of his second marriage.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Hiram Wable of Rockwood, Mrs. Lydia Wable of Ralphton, and Mrs. Irene Miller of Davenport, Nebraska.
Deceased was aged 59-5-29 and death was caused by enteritis.
