She was a daughter of Samuel and Hanna (Lohr) Lehman, both deceased, and was born September 30, 1864. She was a member of a family of nine children, and is the second to pass away, being preceded to the grave by a sister, Mrs. George Bailey of Windber.
Mrs. Wable was twice married, her first husband being John H. Shaffer, who died in 1895. Four children were born to this union, Ralph Shaffer of Johnstown R.D.2, Lester and Earl Shaffer, both of Somerset, and Mrs. Luin Fern Wagner of Central City. Her second husband was Jonas A. Wable, who also preceded her in death. A daughter, Mrs. Russell McKinley Buckwalter, was born to this union.
Mrs. Wable also leaves 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Louise Horne and Henry Lehman, both of Windber; David Lehman of Hooversville; Mrs. Savilla Kinsey of Johnstown, Uriah and Herman Lehman, both of Reels Corner, and Ida B. Lehman of Sewickley.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Somerset United Brethren Church by Rev. Maynard Sparks of Shanksville and Rev. Glenn C. Shaffer of Somerset. Interment will be in St. John's United Brethren Cemetery near Somerset in charge of Walter S. Hoffman. The body has been removed to the Earl Shaffer home on South Edgewood Avenue.
