KATHERINE A. LINGO
79, passed away at a local nursing home on June 24, 2006. Katherine was born September 24, 1926 in Vancouver, Washington to parents, Anton and Johanna van Gogh.
Katherine attended Providence Academy for her education graduating in 1943. She married Joseph E. Lingo on December 30, 1948, and began to raise their family. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Joe (Aug. 14, 1980) and her brother, Rev. James van Gogh (Feb. 1997). She is survived by her children, James and Thomas of Vancouver, Michael of Yakima, and JoAnn Davidson of Edmonds; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her brothers, John and Joseph van Gogh; and sister, Josephine Emond, along with many nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be held at 11:45 a.m. and a Mass at 12:15 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 5, 2006. Inurnment will be at St. James Cemetery immediately following the service.
