Her journey is over. Our loved one has gone to Heaven to be with her Savior. A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Pineville, she died at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 88. Visiting at Stevendale Baptist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by Brother Wallace. Interment in Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Mahan; son, David and wife Cindy; sister, Bessie Land; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Huron R. Horn Sr.; sons, Huron R. Horn Jr. and John L. Horn; and a brother, Otho Townley.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
