Born December 19, 1958, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Loyde Tipton and Mary L. (Mitchell) Tipton and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Brea McBride of Jonesville; brothers, Terry Tipton and Ted Tipton both of Boiling Springs; sister, Sandy Watt of Duncan; and two grandchildren, Katlyn and Peyton Sanford.
The family received friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee. Burial followed at Whitney Cemetery.
