Mrs. Thomas John (Emma) Bleckeberg, 85 of 830 1/2 South Broadway, a resident of Albert Lea the last 30 years, died Tuesday at 5 p.m. she was visiting daughters in Minneapolis and died en route to the hospital there with what was apparently a heart attack. Mrs. Bleckeberg was born Jan.7, 1877 at Manchester Township. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Syvert Thoreson. She lived most of her life in Freeborn County. She was married to Thomas John Bleckeberg in 1901 at Manchester. He died in 1928. They are survived by a son, Ernest in Albert Lea, Four daughters; Mrs. Lloyd(Alma) Jacobson and Mrs. Hans (Josie) Robertson both of Minneapolis, Mrs. Robert (Stella) Hateli of Albert Lea and Mrs. Ernie (Nora) Williamson of Glenville. Sixteen grandchildren 13 great grandchildren Mrs. Bleckeberg was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held in the First Lutheran Church Chapel, Friday at 1;30 P.M.. Burial will be in the West Freeborn Lutheran Church cemetery. The Albert Lea Tribune April 23, 1958
