She was born March 31, 1920, in Shippensburg to the late David F. and Annebelle Eutzy Strayer.
Ms. Allen was a 1937 graduate of Shippensburg High School and worked in many of the clothing factories in the Shippensburg area.
Survivors include a son, Robert E. Allen Sr. of Shippensburg; two daughters, Connie D. Killinger of Shippensburg and Nedra Allen of Newburg; two grandsons; two granddaughters; five stepgranddaughters; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, two sisters and a stepgrandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, with the Rev. George Strayer officiating. Burial will be in the Cleversburg Cemetery in Southampton Township, Cumberland County.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. today in the funeral home.
