Irene J. Durham, 78, 237 Seneca Drive, Montpelier, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at her residence. Born in Defiance County on October 17, 1916, she was the daughter of Sarah (Linebrink) and Sylvester Stock. She was a homemaker, and had been a Montpelier area resident since 1943. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Durham of Pioneer and Darrel (and wife, Connie) Durham of Montpelier; two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Marjorie) McNally of Bryan and Mrs. Paul (Janet) Laser of West Seneca, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Fern Gaskill of Defiance; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Glen L. Durham, in 1973; a son, Keith, who died in infancy; and a sister, Mabel Benner. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier. Burial will be in Evansport Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
