Helen G. Stackhouse Babb, 96, of Muncy, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Muncy.
Born June 6, 1919 in Millville, she was a daughter of the late Oscar A and the Elizabeth (Sherwood) Stackhouse. She married the late Glenn Babb, who preceded her in death on January 4, 2015.
She is survived by a daughter, JoeAnn Narber of Unityville; two sons, Chester C. (Ola) Stackhouse of Millville and Max E. (Sherry) Stackhouse of Muncy; two sisters, Dorothy Weaver and Ruth Harris; two brothers, Jay (Ruthie) Stackhouse and Arnold (Joline) Stackhouse; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by six brothers; and five sisters.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 7 at Twin Hills Memorial Park, 3332 Lycoming Mall Drive, Muncy, with Pastor Lucy Temple officiating.
