HEREFORD - Lidia Arambula, 63, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, in Amarillo.
Prayer vigil will be said at 7 p.m. today and Wednesday in Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Iglesia Catolica De San Jose in Hereford with Deacon Jesse Guerrero officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Hereford.
Mrs. Arambula was born Aug. 4, 1945, in Karnes City to Francisco and Maria Solis. She married Jesus Arambula on June 29, 2002, in Hereford.
Mrs. Arambula was a homemaker and a member of Iglesia Catolica De San Jose Church in Hereford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and a son-in-law.
Survivors include her husband, Jesus; a son, Chris Robles and wife Jessica of Amarillo; four daughters, Katherine Cordero and husband Jefferson of Silver Spring, Md., Dolores Arambula and husband Hilario of Hereford, Jo Ann Maguire of Frederick, Md., and Kimberly Lara of Springfield, Va.; five brothers, Ramon Solis and Domingo Solis, both of San Antonio, and Santiago Solis, Eluterio Solis and Ralph Solis, all of Kenedy; two sisters, Petra Zamora of Amarillo and Lorenza Gonzalez of Rosenburg; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society, Amarillo District Memorial Chair, 3915 S. Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109-4210.
