Willie was the son of Stephen and Dorcas McGaha Snoots, and the husband of the former Felicia Grandel, who survived. He was also survived by children Marshall and Herman Snoots and H. Lucille Kline, five grandkids, siblings J. Chester Snoots, Nina Clark, Ella Dixon, Genevieve Looker and Bertie Phillips, and an aunt Ellen Compher.
Willie was retired as a B&O Railroad car inspector and was a member of the B&O Veterans Association.
Willie also belonged to the First Baptist Church in Brunswick and the Knights of Pythias Loyalty Lodge 22.
