GRISSOM, Mrs. Mollie of Rockdale. Age 87. Died 1/22/1979 (Monday) in a Hearne hospital after being in failing health for the past several years. Services held (Wed.) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Gene Steger officiated.

She was BORN 5/17/1891 in Milam Co. to M/M. J.B. Smith. Married Chester Leroy Grissom in 1912 in Milam Co.

SURVIVORS: 2 sons, William Grissom of Houston and Robert Lee Grissom of Houston; 2 daughters, Iris Parton of Houston and Marie Henninghaus of Houston; brother, Edwin Smith of Hearne; 3 sisters, Sadie Butts of Rockdale, Birdie Ferguson of Pasadena and Ruby Clawson of Pasadena; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
