Bessie I. Friedrich-Collum, 91, died Friday, May 9, 1997, at United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.
Born Oct. 6, 1905, in Pearl to Edwin and Effie Rosanne Calvin Smith, she married Alfred Hoshor Friedrich. He died in 1970. She later married John F. Collum. He died in 1976. She also was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Joanne Fritch and Beverly Chell.
She was the manager and cook of the Kroger cafeteria in Peoria.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
