Fannie F. Slabaugh, age 100, of 6121 W 1350 N, Nappanee, died at 5:25 pm, Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Bremen Community Hospital, where she had been a patient for 1 day.

She was born January 24, 1910 in Marshall County, In to Andrew N. and Katie Yoder Slabaugh. Her first marriage was to Harvey Farmwald November 17, 1929. He preceded in death October, 1938. She married Edward T. Slabaugh December 20, 1964 and he preceded her in death May 14, 1974. Mrs. Slabaugh was a lifetime area resident. She was a homemaker and had worked at Libby's Saurkraut Factory in Nappanee. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are sons, Oliver (Viola) Farmwald, Nappanee, Andrew (Linda) Farmwald, Milford, daughters, Dorothy (Jack) Tobias and Mary Yoder, both of Nappanee, 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, Stepsons, Allen (Tressie) Slabaugh, Larry (Katie) Slabaugh, Dale (Ina) Slabaugh, all of Nappanee, Glenn (Enid) Slabaugh, Goshen, Stepdaughters, Erma (Loren) Troyer, Eleanor (Jay) Peachey, and Kay (Dale) Schertz, all of Nappanee, Mary Ellen (Joni) Beachy, Bremen, 31 Stepgrandchildren, 83 Step Great Grandchildren, 6 Step Great Great Grandchildren, sisters, Inez (Roy) Helmuth, Cora Martin, both of Goshen and Wilma (Jesse) Hochstetler, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by Her parents, a son-in-law, Homer Yoder, 5 sisters, Elizabeth Slabaugh, Lydia Miller, Mary Stutzman, Edna Mast, and Katie Walters, and 2 brothers, Elmer and Delbert Slabaugh.
