Charlie Silva, age 54 a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Las Vegas, NM on October 12, 1959 to the late Guadalupe Silva and Constance Julia Padilla-Silva. He worked at Hacienda Home Centers for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grand pup Diesel and always enjoyed going to breakfast with his many friends. On his days off he would spend the day with in-laws Arturo and Virginia Roybal. He was a Christian and a member of Cornerstone Church in Las Vegas, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Ruben Silva; nephew: Paul Silva and niece: Raquel Marisela Garcia He is survived by his wife: Eva M. Silva of the family home; son: Charles Silva, Jr., and wife Prescilla of Las Vegas, NM; daughter: Crystal Silva and boyfriend Luke Romero of Las Vegas, NM; three grandchildren: Robert Saiz, Jr. and girlfriend Amberlyn Ortega; Elizabeth Saiz and boyfriend Jesus Tafoya and Joseph Montoya all of Las Vegas, NM; brother and sisters: Dennis Silva and wife Rose of Las Vegas, NM; Lilly Jauregui and husband Manuel of Manuelitas, NM; Susie Garcia and husband Frank of Las Vegas, NM; Judy Silva and wife Sharha of Manuelitas, NM; sister-in-law: Mabel Silva; father and mother-in-law: Arturo and Virginia Roybal of Las Vegas, NM; special friend: Diesel; many: nephews, nieces and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 7:00pm at Cornerstone Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:00am also at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Mark Saiz Officiating. Interment will follow at The Padilla Family Plot in Manuelitas, NM.
