He was united in marriage on Feb. 1, 1975, in Las Vegas, N.M. to Mabel Roybal.
He was a truck driver for the Franken Oil Company for about 20 years and an independent truck driver for five years. He was a ranch foreman for the last three years. He loved working with animals and going to the ranch. He was a hard worker and never complained. He loved his wife, daughters, granddaughter and son-in-law, his mom, dad, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He loved helping people and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter; they called each other "Winnie the Pooh" and "Piglet." He loved traveling with his daughters on whatever mission they were on and loved life and living. He had a beautiful smile and a big mustache.
He was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Las Vegas, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe and Constance Silva; nephew: Paul Silva.
He is survived by his loving wife: Mabel Silva of Las Vegas, N.M.; daughters: Denise Alladi and husband Dr. Vikram of Los Alamos, N.M.; Devon Botello and husband Jesus of Las Vegas, N.M.; granddaughter: Nikole Lujan of Los Alamos, N.M.; brothers: Dennis Silva and wife Rose; Charlie Silva and wife Eva all of Las Vegas, N.M.; sisters: Lilly Jauregui and husband Manuel of Manuelitas, N.M.; Susie Garcia and husband Frank of Las Vegas, N.M. and Judy Silva and companion Shara of Manuelitas, N.M.; mother and father-in-law: Isaias and Erminia Roybal of Las Vegas, N.M.; brother-in-law: Frank Roybal and wife Berlinda of Guadalupita, N.M.; numerous: aunts, uncles, special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends.
Prayer services will be conducted on this evening at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning at 9 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Pastor Mark Saiz officiating. Interment will follow at the Family Cemetery in Manuelitas, N.M. with the following serving as casket bearers: John Silva, Armando Heras, Charles Silva, Jr., Manuel Jauregui, Fernando Heras, Frankie Roybal. Serving as honorary bearers will be his grand-daughter: Nikole Lujan and all his remaining nieces and nephews.
