Hortense S. Bancroft, the wife of Harvey Bancroft, died at their farm home in the town of Guilford Tuesday forenoon, after a very brief sickness, aged 46 years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bancroft are well known here, and Mrs. Bancroft was a member of the Broad Street M.E. church from which the funeral will be held on Saturday. Interment will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
