Funeral Rites Tomorrow for Wife of Noted Boston Architect
MARION, July 21-- Mrs. Julia Shepley Coolidge, 79, wife of Charles A. Coolidge, Sr., prominent Boston architect, died at her home here early today after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at her home in Marion, Tuesday. Only close friends and the immediate family have been invited. Burial will be at Mt. Auburn cemetery, in Cambridge.
Mrs. Coolidge was born in St. Louis, Mo. Her father, John R. Shepley, was a son of Chief Justice Shepley of Maine. Her two brothers, John F. Shepley and Arthur Shepley, were prominent in legal circles in St. Louis.
Mrs. Coolidge is survived, in addition to her husband, by her sister, Mrs. Charles Nagel of St. Louis, and four children, Mrs. Gordon S. Rentschler of New York, Mrs. Coolidge Cunningham of Cambridge, Mrs. Frederick Deane and Charles A. Coolidge, Jr., both of Boston.
