Died in Buffalo, on the 25th of May at the residence of her son-in-law Hon. Isaac A. Verplanck, aged 73 years. She was one of the early settlers of Batavia, coming there in 1813. She was a very estimable lady and widow of Gen. Ethan B. Allen, a distinguished lawyer, and influential
citizen of the village who died there about 3O years before. Her remains were returned to Batavia for interment.
