Mrs. Bertha Segars Davidson, 95, of Alto, died Friday, October 25, 2002, at a private nursing home following an extended illness.
Born in Banks County on March 22, 1907, Mrs. Davidson was a daughter of the late William and Lou Ausborn Segars.
She was a homemaker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Davidson, three sons, Huewell Davidson, Eugene Davidson and Marvin Davidson, a brother, Hershel Segars, and five sisters, Rushie Jordan, Willie Jordan, Mellie White, Ruby Mote and Dessie Bennett.
Burial was in the Yonah Congregational Holiness Church cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, William Davidson, Baldwin, and Wilton Davidson, Alto; three sisters, Lessie Mote, Demorest, Ruth Loudermilk, Cornelia, and Reba Parker, Lula; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
