Albert "Bud" Schreuder, age 57, of Rock Valley, formerly of LeMars, IA. died Saturday, June 18, 1994 at the Valley Manor at Rock Valley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Porter Funeral Home at Rock Valley. Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley. Rev. Harlan DeJong will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday with the family present 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home at Rock Valley.
Albert "Bud" was born April 5,1937 at Rock Valley. Son of Cornelius and Susanna (Baron) Schreuder. He attended the Rock Valley Christian grade and high school. Bud served in the U.S. Army 1962-1965 during the Berlin Crisis.
He married Allene Roemen at Canton, SD on June 6, 1970.
Bud worked for the Well's Blue Bunny Company at Rock Valley a few years before becoming a member of the Pipe Fillers Union, working thru-out the midwest.
Due to illness, Bud moved to the Valley Manor at Rock Valley in 1991.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Allene of LeMars, IA; one son and his wife, Scott and Deb Schreuder of Brookings, S.D.; brother Clarence Schreuder of Spencer, IA; two sisters, Mrs. William (Alma) Landegent of Rock Valley, IA, Mrs. Elmer (Helen) Van Kekerix of Sheldon, IA; one grandson, Phil Alan Schreuder.
