Amelia Helen Heisser Schnaible, 90, former receptionist at Reifers Furniture Store, died June 6, 1984 at Augsburg Village, Mulberry, where she had resided four months.

A native and life resident of Lafayette, she was employed at Reifers for many years. She later took over hostess duties at Duncan Community Hall in 1969, and served there until retiring in 1979. She was married in 1921 to Elmer A. Schnaible, and he died in 1945. She was a life member of St. James Lutheran Church and an honorary member of Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Surviving are two daughters, Alice (Mrs. James) Vice of Lafayette and Irene (Mrs. William) Kayser of South Bend; and one brother, Carl J. Heisser of St. Petersburg, FL.

Service June 8 in St. James Lutheran Church, Pastors Daniel P. May and Luther Brunette officiating. Internment Spring Vale Cemetery. Soller-Baker Lafayette Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
