Holly Dale Sampson


Holly Dale Sampson, 32, of Two and Three Quarter Mile Creek, near St. Albans,
died Saturday night at his home of a heart attack.

Survivors, his widow, Mrs Evelyn Sampson, his mother Mrs Emma ( Craddock )
Sampson of Rocksdale, a daughter, Nina, and two sons, Holly, Jr., and Roger, all
at home; four brothers, Ernest of Two and Three Quarter Mile Creek, Cyrus of
Slate, Frank of Akron, O., and Ralph of Parkersburg; and six sisters, Mrs Deo
Nutter of Rocksdale, Mrs Holly Starcher of Spencer, Mrs Kessler Starcher of
Cleveland, O., Mrs Lockard Starcher of Rocksdale, Mrs Kenny (sic Kenna) Roach of
Vienna, and Mrs Harvey Saunders of Cleveland,O.

Mr. Sampson was a mechanic for the Charleston Transit Co. and a member of the
Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World war II.

Services will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the home of a brother, Ernest at
Two and Three Quarter Mile Creek and additional services will be held at 2 p.m.
in Stoney Point Methodist Church near Arnoldsburg, Calhoun County. Burial will
be in Gibson Cemetery near the church under the direction of Bartlett Mortuary
of St. Albans. The body is at the home of Ernest Sampson.

Note: He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Sampson
