Passed away seven months after celebrating her 100th birthday.

Daughter of Giuseppe and Melchiora Russo. Jennie was one of four girls. Two of her sisters passed away in their mid 80s: Angelina Leardini (Martinez) and Josephine Cardinalli (Monterey). The oldest sister, Frances DeVasio is 106 years old and lives in Concord, CA.

In 1933 she married Vito and they had two sons; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
