Sadie M. Gibson was born Sept. 30, 1889, in Dansville, a daughter of Harry and Alice (Goho) Robinson. Mrs. Gibson had resided in the East Springwater and Wayland area most of her life. She was a member of the former Evangelical United Brethren Church in Wayland and of its Ladies Aid Group.
At the time of her death in July 1991, Mrs. Gibson was one of the area's oldest residents. She was 101. She died in the Conesus Lake Skilled Nursing Facility after a long illness.
Mrs. Gibson had been predeceased by her husband, Gordon, in 1970. Surviving her were a daughter, Marian Sniffen of Wayland; two sons, of Wayland; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
