WINTER HAVEN - Margaret Jane Roberts Dann peacefully passed away in her home on May 31 of lymphoma.
Margaret was born in Tildenville, Florida on November 15, 1925, the 8th of 10 children of Howard & Ida Roberts.
Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rev. Harold Dann. Survived by son Arthur (Isabel) of Chesapeake, Va. 3 grandsons, Jason (Fallon), Justin (Brittanie) of Lakeland and Zachary of Va, 1 great grand daughter Tobie (Jason/Fallon), daughter Monique Desrochers (Christopher) of Winter Haven, 2 granddaughters Savannah & Maris, and many nieces and nephews who lovingly cherished her.
Margaret was a graduate of Lakeview High School in 1944, business school & was a member of the first graduating class (1950) of Baptist Bible College at the Florida Southern campus.
Margaret was church secretary at First Baptist of Bartow & First Baptist of Lake Wales. She held various church related titles & responsibilities over the course of her husband's pastorships at SBC churches, which spanned from Miami to Central Florida to Kentucky, including locally: Inwood Baptist, Golfview Baptist, Lake Wales, Trinity Baptist, Apopka and Mt. Olive Baptist, Polk City.
