Carol was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, on May 12, 1942, to Fred Rice and Gertrude(Bowen) Rice. Carol's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. They meant so much to her. She enjoyed gardening and working to provide for her family. Carol was of the Protestant Faith. Her beautiful smile and sweet attitude will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Gertrude Rice; sisters Nadine Buchanan Kobobel and Velma Broom; and brother Norman Rice.
Funeral services for Carol will be Friday, October 9, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Mike Dobson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
