Jo Marie (Jones) Reid was born February 28, 1928 in Deport, Texas to Joe and Lillie Jones. She went to be with her Savior and husband on May 13, 2014. Jo Marie spent the first fourteen years of her life on the family farm and was charged with the care of tending to her younger brothers and sisters while her parents worked in the field. In 1943 the family moved to Velasco and in January of the next year to West Columbia, where she was proud to call home for the remainder of her life.
