Clara (Quinn) Allison, 84, of Gramling, South Carolina, passed away February 23, 2005 at Mountainview Nursing Home, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Born in Spartanburg, Monday, March 1, 1920, she was a daughter of William Christenberry Quinn (1884-1969) and Minnie Mae Stone Quinn (1888-1962).
She retired from Startex Mills and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina.
She is survived by two daughters, June (Allison) Fried, Ann (Allison) Ballenger; a son, Mike Allison (Nancy); and a sister, Jean Settles. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman, South Carolina, Friday, February 25, 2005, with Dr. Clyde Greene and Rev. Reggie Parker officiating. Mausoleum encryptment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions were made to Alzheimers Research, Anderson, South Carolina.
