Maudie (Quinn) Bridgeman, 99, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, December 30, 2013, at Valley Falls Terrace, Spartanburg.

Born January 19, 1914, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel N. and Cynthia (Coates) Quinn, and wife of the late Ersil Wesley Bridgeman.

Mrs. Bridgeman was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class, Young At Heart, and served on the Admin Board, various committees, and sang in the choir.

Retired from Mayfair Mills after 30 years of service.

Surviving is her daughter, Jill B. Powers, and her husband Vance of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Clint Powers, and his wife Tammy of Waleska, GA, and Wes Powers, and his wife Maya of Decatur, GA; great-granddaughters, Sydney Powers and Quinn Powers of Decatur, GA; niece, Rae Perrotta of Spartanburg, SC; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Jeffery Ross Bridgeman; and an infant son, Paul Richard Bridgeman.

Visitation was 10:00-10:45 AM Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.

Funeral services followed at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. James Carter and the Rev. David Ervin. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arcadia United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 143, Arcadia, SC 29320; or Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
