NANCY FAYE JOHNSON, 71, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Webster, Texas. She was born on June 18, 1938 in Washington, DC to Wilmer and Cloris Pyles. She had been a lifelong resident of Temple Hills, Maryland before moving to Friendswood four years ago.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Charles William Johnson, daughter Susan Barbour and husband William of Friendswood, son; David Johnson and wife Bonnie of Mt. Airy, Maryland, sister Pamela Stanard of Temple Hills, Maryland, brothers; Jerald Pyles and wife Ann of Hendersonville, NC, Richard Pyles and wife Nancy Carol of Ararat, Virginia. Also surviving Nancy are her grandchildren Nicholas and Samantha Johnson of Mt. Airy, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her son Dennis William Johnson in 1990.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:30 am at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Pastor Bill Cole officiating.
